2008-2009 AWARDS BANQUET

Well, Jon and “his” team retained their record for volleyball champions of Elite! Good job to everyone who tried to take them down…the effort was inspiring!

What a beautiful day and how much fun was it to celebrate the success of our 2008-2009 season together? It was really a banner year! Our program retains the bragging rights to success throughout, as Jon said…not just a couple of teams. We had so many undefeated teams with great competition all year…that is an incredible accomplishment! From our Mini Level 1 all the way to our Senior Level 5, we could not be prouder of last year’s record of achievement. True it is, we do NOTHING, but get BETTER every year. Our record is undeniable, huh? Our June newsletter comes out this week and we have listed many statistics that are absolutely AMAZING! After we release it, I will publish links on our blog for you to visit!

Congratulations to our program graduates…Elizabeth Haswell, Erica LaLone, Faren Ange, Haley Sexton and Karlee Campbell! While we know that we will be seeing ALL of you often, know that we cannot wait to see the great things you all will do with your lives. Leave the All-Star cheerleading world knowing that your Elite family will always be behind you! We will miss you on the floor, but know that you will remain in our hearts forever. We love you!

Our staff…we have to kiss alot of frogs and turtles to find our princes and princesses and that we have done…(not literally, of course!) The princes and princesses, remain! Eddie, Mike, Matt, Shane, Bear, Elizabeth, Mandi, Marie, Jennifer, Juanda, Tonya, Natasha, Josh…you are appreciated and respected more than anyone we have ever had on staff at Elite. You possess the qualities of honesty, integrity, sincere love, genuine loyalty, dedication, versatility, commitment, morals, values and work ethic that makes Elite so strong. Without you, we would not be given the opportunity to do what we love so much and that is to work with REAL people like YOU and our true Elite family! For that, we are grateful! You are the BEST PRINCES AND PRINCESSES that exist in the “Cheer Land”! Thank you ALL for everything you do without any invented, unrealistic or misguided expectations of anything, but FAMILY! You really represent the true meaning of ELITE PRIDE!

Mebane will have sizing for uniforms tomorrow night, Monday, June 1st from 5:30 to 7:30.  Please be timely, as we have many uniforms to size in a short two hours. Remember, the money is due at the time of sizing. We are making every effort to size only one time for the first BIG order.

Raleigh missing sizes…several of you have called, e-mailed and asked if there is another sizing for Raleigh. The answer is YES! We will let you know tomorrow when the next day for sizing will be. There are so many new athletes that have registered in the last week that we have no choice, but to offer another night or two of sizing.

Jon and Nicole…Phillip and I feel exactly the same way as what you expressed today! There is NO way that we would ever want to continue in this business without YOU both, either! It would be an impossibility!

Thank you to all of you for the gifts, cards and expression of gratitude. It means more to us than you can imagine. You make what we do so special.

P.S. Elizabeth, Dad and I could not be any prouder of you! You are the TRUE meaning of LEADER. You have accomplished many things in a short nineteen (almost 20 ) years that most people do not have the fortune to ever experience. We both look forward to seeing you achieve your many dreams in life. You are NOT the typical owners’ daughter…your achievements and acconplishments, YOU earned. That’s the only way we, as parents, would have it! You accepted the challenge with grace and dignity and for that, we could not be prouder. We love you so much…Mom and Dad.
